Monitoring of Shipment Location
To monitor the shipment location, two useful applications may be used – Centrální vozový informační systém (CEVIS), Central Wagon Information System, and Centrální nákladní pokladna (CNP), Central Cargo Cash Office. The main task of the CEVIS application is to register and monitor the travel of railway cargo wagons, while CNP monitors the shipments. Both applications provide much information to external users.

Different external users, such as carriers, forwarders, wagon owners, etc., may obtain access and user rights for the system. Information can be acquired via a web interface and/or via e-mail. The web interface can be addressed by requests with different parameters, which may influence the content and structure of an output report. Information via e-mail and/or FTP can be acquired by means of automated outputs, such as once per day.
Outputs
You may display a response to your request on your screen, print on a printer and/or obtain it as a data block, which can be further processed, e.g. in your information system. The automated outputs provide data blocks in the csv format (semicolon separator); they can be further processed, e.g. in MS Excel.
Business Terms and Conditions
There will be a charge for any information supplied. Prices are based upon a contract. User access into the system is enabled based on a contract made with the supplier of the information (i.e. ČD Cargo). After closing the contract, a trial use is available free of charge.
