Forward to Your FriendBesides its main line of business, in order to ensure comprehensive services in the field of transport of goods, ČD Cargo a.s. provides additional services when handling the goods, which precede and/or directly follow the transportation of goods by railway, i.e. collection and loading of goods, including storing, security, and forwarding services, as well as other services and activities for natural and legal persons, based on the ČD Cargo a.s. trading licence.
Additional Services
Comprehensive services for customers when handling goods, which precede and/or directly follow the transportation of goods by railway:
- Collection and loading of goods into railway wagons;
- Storing and securing goods in railway wagons;
- Unloading goods from railway wagons and distribution of the goods to locations defined by customers;
- Adjusting and/or trans-shipment of loads and securing of goods in cases where transport of the complete wagon load has been temporarily stopped due to loading or technical defects;
- Handling goods at locations defined by customers.
Transport and procurement services on behalf of carriers within domestic and international transport:
- Tariff consultancy services;
- Collection of goods from locations defined by customers, sorting, storing, packaging, dispatch and re-dispatch of goods including large containers;
- Takeover, accumulating, dispatching, allocating, distributing and/or ensuring further transport of shipments;
- Storing and related services concerning unloading;
- Placing shipments in stores and loading of shipments when released from stores.
Other Services and Activities
Services can be provided upon customer request, and after preliminary discussion and agreement in writing in any railway station with a dispatch licence for incoming and outgoing complete wagon loads, within domestic and international transport. Prices for any service provided can be paid by separate invoice, and/or by means of a consignment note.
