Special Shipments
Within the railway system, special shipment refers to the shipping of items which require special methods during transport due to external dimensions, weight or character. Such shipments require the application of different conditions, both in terms of railway equipment and type of wagon used.

Basically, special shipments can be classified as (i) shipments exceeding gauge loading (PLM); (ii) shipments with special weight; (iii) shipments with special length; and (iv) other shipments, the securing of which does not comply with provisions of the Guidelines on Loading Commodities in Cargo Railway Wagons (See Annex II to RIV, Unit 1 and 2), and for which no special provisions were issued, such as Loading Examples.
In the case of such a shipment, we always look for the ideal options of railway transport combined with competitive prices, in cooperation with URMIZA (Central Special Shipment Register).
Suitable Series of Wagons
To transport special shipments, the following wagons can be used: Res, Smmp, Uaaik, Ks, and Smmps.
