Wood chips

The transport of wood chips is performed either by traditional technology in the Fmmrs and Tirs wagons (not available from the railway transport company) or in special wood chip transport containers (WoodTainers) placed on a platform wagon by three units. Whereas loading is always performed from above, unloading is performed by ejecting the goods via an open side wall (traditional technology), and unloading of containers is performed by a special unloader that can remove the container from the wagon and unload it. For unloading wood, a state-of-the-art series of wagons that reduce loading and unloading times, and enable use of the wagon's full capacity, are being used more and more.
