On January 17, 2018, the SŽDC introduced on the line Žihle - Blatno u Jesenice line (in km 150.7 - 151.5 km) axle load A class, including the prohibition of the movement of freight trains with a multiple or pushing locomotive, at the on the Pilsen – Žatec line. The reason is the deterioration of the technical state of the embankment near Pastuchovice, which is a long-standing problem with the historical roots, from the time of the construction of the track in the 19th century.
This restriction made virtually impossible any long-distance transit traffic on this north-south line, and therefore only local traffic remained. ČD Cargo operates local trains in the section Žatec – Blatno u Jesenice – Bochov.
