\u010cD Cargo has applied for financial support for the implementation of a project related to the reduction of the energy consumption of the Rotunda II building owned by the SOKV \u010cesk\u00e9 Bud\u011bjovice under the Technologies and Applications for Competitiveness Programme, Energy Savings – Call I, funded by the European Regional Development Fund, whose managing authority is the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic.<\/p>

C\u00edlem Programu, a stejn\u011b tak V\u00fdzvy, byla podpora realizace projekt\u016f, kter\u00e9 vedou ke sn\u00ed\u017een\u00ed emis\u00ed sklen\u00edkov\u00fdch plyn\u016f, modernizaci energetick\u00fdch syst\u00e9m\u016f a zv\u00fd\u0161en\u00ed pod\u00edlu obnoviteln\u00fdch zdroj\u016f energie na kone\u010dn\u00e9 spot\u0159eb\u011b energie. Pomoc\u00ed podporovan\u00fdch opat\u0159en\u00ed pak bylo dosa\u017eeno \u00faspory kone\u010dn\u00e9 spot\u0159eby energie. Pl\u00e1novan\u00e1 alokace V\u00fdzvy \u010dinila pro roky 2021 \u2013 2027 celkem 81,5 mld. K\u010d. Stanoven\u00ed celkov\u00e9 maxim\u00e1ln\u00ed v\u00fd\u0161e podpory pro projekt \u010cD Cargo bylo nastaveno dle v\u00fd\u0161e zp\u016fsobil\u00fdch n\u00e1klad\u016f dle pravidel dota\u010dn\u00ed V\u00fdzvy. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Project description<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The subject of this Project was to reduce the energy consumption of the Rotunda II building and related extensions on the premises of the Rolling Stock Repair Center in \u010cesk\u00e9 Bud\u011bjovice owned by \u010cD Cargo, a.s., by means of insulation of the shell building structure, replacement and renovation of doors and windows, replacement of lighting and other construction measures having a proven impact on the energy consumption of the buildings, including the installation of external shading elements. The Rotunda II building is used for the repair of rolling stock, with specialist workshops in the extensions. <\/p>

These measures have led to a significant reduction in electricity and heating consumption and costs from non-renewable sources, amounting to 1,715.61 MWh\/year, which represents a saving of 68%. The annual energy savings show that the project’s outputs will have a very significant positive impact on the environment, both in the immediate vicinity, the region, and the entire Czech Republic as an EU member state. The activities in question also generate lower emissions through lower energy consumption. <\/p>

The total estimated cost of the project, as determined by \u010cD Cargo prior to the tender, was CZK 27.4 million, of which total eligible expenditure amounted to CZK 15.4 million. The amount of subsidy support from recognized eligible costs was CZK 5.4 million.
