The certificate of a socially responsible company is awarded by the ČD Cargo carrier to companies which have decided to shift at least part of their transportation from road to rail. One of them is also Z‑Group Steel Holding. Its representative, Mr. Vladimír Kučera, took over the certificate from the hands of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of ČD Cargo, Mr. Ivan Bednárik, on 5 September 2017.

The aforementioned company has transferred transportation of ingots to railway between the production plants in Hrádek u Rokycan and Chomutov. It is about 10 to 20 wagons per week. According to Mr. Kučera, the railway is fast and flexible and the new transportation has allowed the company to improve the railway sidings efficiency in both factories. The new business case is the result of cooperation of the sales representative for the commodity “iron”, Mr. Ivanov, and the regional sales representative, Ms. Kotálová.
