At the end of April, two-day working meeting with Chief of the Kaliningrad Railroad RŽD, Mr. Viktor Golomozin, took place with the Board of Directors of ČD Cargo and CD Cargo Poland. An important act was the signature of the "Transport Organization Agreement" between OAO RŽD and CD Cargo Poland, which will allow the operation of CD Cargo Poland at the border crossings of Mamonovo/Braniewo and Skandawa/Černjachovsk.

Participants further discussed the possibility of expanding cooperation on timber transport from the Kaliningrad region, negotiating the opening of transit intermodal transports from China to Europe via the Mamonovo/Braniewo border crossing and the possibility of initiating shipments of chips in Innofreight containers.

The Kaliningrad delegation had the opportunity to get acquainted with the progressive way of unloading coal at the Chvaletice power plant as well as with the operation of the ČD DUSS container terminal in Lovosice.
