The 2nd conference of the railway carriers association ŽESNAD.CZ took place on the 17th of May 2018 at the Harmony Hotel in Špindlerův Mlýn.

At the beginning of the meeting, the participants commemorated memory of Ing. Jiří Samek, the first president of this association, who succumbed to the serious disease in spring of this year, with a minute of silence. Besides representatives of the carriers, also representatives of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, representatives of the Ministry of Transport of the Czech Republic and representatives of SŽDC attended this event. In their speeches talkers devoted to the current problems of rail freight transport.
