Transport of road trailers by rail ČD Cargo perceives as a very promising segment of action. For the customer LKW Walter provides by the end of June 2016 transportation from the port of Rostock to the terminal in Brno. Currently are dispatched four pairs of trains per week and in the near future their number should increase to 5 pairs.

At train departing from Brno in the evening on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 was as trial deployed one of the most modern locomotives of ČD Cargo, specifically Vectron 383.005. To the port of Rostock train arrived with trailers next day shortly after noon.

Train return the following day was complicated by an incident at the station Libice nad Cidlinou, and therefore had to be used route along the left bank of the Labe. So it was possible to take a snapshot of Vectron with trailers in Prague boroughs of Holešovice and Libeň.

In the entire route was train led by ČD Cargo driver. Some of Vectron could occur on trains with trailers to Rostock in the next timetable.
