The ČD Cargo train was the first in the Ejpovice tunnel

On 15^th November 2018, the first train passed the new tunnel at Ejpovice, specifically its southern tube. It was the Pn 62600 train from Plzeň to Praha-Libeň of the carrier ČD Cargo. The twin locomotives 363.509 + 516 were at the head of the train. The train had to observe a speed limit of 30 kilometers per hour. Following trains ran through the tunnel at the speed of 50 km/h. By the end of the year the speed of 120 km/h should be allowed.

Each tube of the new tunnel is 4 150 meters long and the tunnel is now the longest in the Czech Republic. The tunnel construction started in January 2015.
