JŽK
Uniform railway exchange rate
ČD Cargo, a.s., will use the JŽK to convert the value of all services (including tariff values) that are primarily denominated in a currency other than the one in which the price of all these services is agreed with the customer for invoicing purposes (e.g., EUR as the calculation currency and CZK as the invoicing currency), unless otherwise agreed with the customer for the given fulfillment. The validity of the JŽK is set for the period until a new JŽK is issued.
When converting currencies not listed above, ČD Cargo, a. s., will use the current daily exchange rate of the Czech National Bank (ČNB), or when converting currencies whose exchange rate is not listed by the ČNB in its exchange rate lists but which may occur as a tariff currency in international rail transport, the EUR exchange rate announced by the central banks of the relevant countries will be used for the above purposes.
Conversion from CZK to foreign currency / EUR
The conversion rate from CZK to EUR is set at CZK 22.80 CZK/EUR and is valid until further notice or until its value changes, respectively.
Acceptance exchange rate
ČD Cargo, a.s., accepts payments for invoices issued in CZK and EUR. For the purpose of settling received payments, ČD Cargo, a.s., will use the so-called acceptance exchange rate for payments in EUR, the value of which is set at 22.80 CZK/EUR until further notice or until the value of the acceptance exchange rate changes, respectively.
