The Rail Freight Forward (RFF) coalition, which aims to increase the modal share of rail freight transport in Europe from the current 18% to 30% by 2030 and of which ČD Cargo is a member, published its first video today:

The two-minute film presents rail freight as a key element in addressing the EU's current climate and societal challenges and shows the 5 main elements of modernization that the sector will take in the coming years. Specifically, it concerns the digitization of all processes as well as capacity management, ERTMS, autonomous operation of trains and a digital automatic coupler. The aim of the measures is to create a single, borderless, fast, simple and flexible logistical backbone of Europe, which will bring benefit to all its inhabitants.
