The project was aimed at strengthening the cyber security of ČD Cargo, a.s., which is a key part of the Czech Republic’s critical transport infrastructure. The aim was to increase the protection of information and communication systems from cyber threats, increase resilience to attacks, and ensure the safe operation of strategic transports. The project included the development of secure communication and network services, the modernization of communication infrastructure, and the introduction of advanced security technologies for detecting and responding to security incidents, in accordance with Act No. 181/2014 Coll. on cybersecurity and the applicable legislation of the Czech Republic and the European Union.
The project “Increasing the cyber security of ČD Cargo, a.s., project registration number CZ. 31.2.0/0.0/0.0/23_096/0011580, was co-financed by the European Union through the National Recovery Plan, Component 1. 2 Digital Public Administration Systems, Call No. 44 Cyber Security – Transport.
