Basic information on the Programme

Within the framework of the Programme for support of applied research, experimental development, and innovation in the field of transport – DOPRAVA 2020+, co-funded by the European Union, whose managing body is the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic, ČD Cargo has joined the application for financial support for the implementation of the Project Automated analysis of operational rail freight traffic data as another applicant

The aim of the Programme is to develop the transport sector through the outputs, results and impacts of the supported projects in a way that reflects societal needs, accelerates the technological and knowledge development of the country, and thus to contribute to the growth of the Czech Republic’s competitiveness. The planned allocation of the Programme for 2020 – 2026 is CZK 1.95 billion. The expected average intensity of support for individual projects is 80%.

Project description

The aim of the Programme is to develop the transport sector through the outputs, results and impacts of the supported projects in a way that reflects societal needs, accelerates the technological and knowledge development of the country, and thus to contribute to the growth of the Czech Republic’s competitiveness. The planned allocation of the Programme for 2020 – 2026 is CZK 1.95 billion. The expected average intensity of support for individual projects is 80%.

This Project is implemented in cooperation with the University of Pardubice, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (the main beneficiary).

The total estimated cost of the Project is CZK 6.72 million. The subsidy for the entire Project amounts to CZK 5.38 million with the proportional part for ČD Cargo CZK 1.19 million. The implementation of the Project should be completed by December 31, 2025, in accordance with the terms of the Programme.
