ČD Cargo launches a new simulator. It will be compulsory for drivers every two years
Today, in the presence of the Minister of Transport, the management of ČD Cargo, the parent company České dráhy and other representatives of authorities and institutions related to railway transport, the carrier ČD Cargo festively launched the operation of a new train control simulator in Česká Třebová.
Stations with special transport conditions
In December 2023, ČD Cargo announced updated conditions for acceptance and delivery of consignments from/to stations with special transport conditions valid from 1st January 2024.
DB train drivers’ strike
From 22nd January 2024 until further notice, a strike by DB train drivers is underway in Germany. This will have a significant impact on the services operated by this carrier in Germany.
Jubilee Mattoni Express
On Tuesday afternoon, 16th January 2024, the jubilee 800th Mattoni express set off from the Vojkovice nad Ohří station. By this train, ČD Cargo, in cooperation with the carrier Railsystém, ensures the transport of non-alcoholic beverages of the Mattoni 1873 company from the town of Kyselka to the warehouse in Mostkovice near Prostějov.
Calculating the carbon footprint in the Search connection portlet
Today we have added a component to the Search connection portlet designed to calculate the environmental effects of transportation by rail compared to road transport.
Personnel changes in the Section of Commerce

We are expanding the list of stations with a special operating mode
As of 1st January 2024, ČD Cargo is extending the list of stations with a special regime of service and expanding the conditions for delivering shipments to these stations.
