On November 27, the management of ČD Cargo, a.s., concluded a Company Collective Labour Agreement with its social partners valid for 2026. In response to changing conditions on the transport market, the company is going through an exceptionally difficult period of restructuring, therefore the result of the negotiations is proof of the constructive approach of all parties involved. By signing, the social partners also appreciated the effort to find a balanced solution that respects the current economic possibilities of the company.
In 2025, a number of restructuring measures related to savings were implemented, including savings in the social fund, which enabled at least a minimal increase in wages for the next year. This clearly declared the interest of the company’s management and social partners to ensure stable conditions for employees, which is the basis for the company’s continued successful operation on the market. A new and key element of the collective agreement is the deal on an incentive remuneration system linked to the achievement of economic results in 2026.
The collective agreement enters into force on January 1, 2026.
