Executive Director of ČD Cargo

The Board of Directors of ČD Cargo has decided to appoint Vladimír Perný, MBA, to the position of Executive Director. He will be responsible for managing and coordinating all the company’s main activities and will also focus on strengthening the role of sales within the company.

Vladimír Perný graduated from the Prague University of Economics and Business and earned his MBA from DePaul University Chicago. From 1991 to 2004, he acted as commercial director and vice-chairman of the Board of Directors at Čechofracht, and was responsible for setting up processes related to air freight logistics at Czech Airlines and Air Cargo Terminal Prague. From 2011 to 2012, he was a member of the Board of Directors of the Prague Public Transport Company. He has also worked for other companies focused on trade and logistics.
