We operate railway weighbridges

ČD Cargo, a.s., is the operator of selected rail weighing scales on the Správa železnic (Railway Administration) network.

Based on a contractual relationship with Správa železnic (Railway Administration), ČD Cargo, a.s. has been the operator of selected railway weighbridges on the Správa železnic network since August 1, 2020. These rail weighbridges are operated as service facilities. As a part of this service, ČD Cargo will determine the weight of wagons for other carriers. The principles and prices for the provision of this service are contained in the Conditions. An overview of the rail scales on which the carrier can order the service of weighing its wagons is given in this list. The basis for ordering the service is a binding order.

The rules for determining the weight of consignments transported by the joint-stock company ČD Cargo remain unchanged and continue to be governed by the provisions of the Contractual Carriage Conditions of ČD Cargo, a.s. (SPP) for the fees specified in the Tariff ČD Cargo, a.s. (TVZ).
