Open Day in SOKV České Budějovice

On Saturday, 7 October 2023, an open day for the general public will take place at the premises of the Rolling Stock Repair Center in České Budějovice.

Single safety certificate

On 12 September 2023, ČD Cargo was granted a Single Safety Certificate by the European Union Agency for Railways (ERA) for the maximum possible period, i.e. for 5 years.

Pardubice hosted a transport conference

Over three hundred participants from the professional public gathered at the Pardubice Congress Centre on Thursday, 7th September 2023, for the XII Transport Conference which brought together experts in the financing, preparation, construction and actual use of all modes of transport. The event continued the next day with a road fair at the Pardubice Region Road Administration and Maintenance Facility.

Railway Days

September traditionally belongs to the celebration of Railway Days. And ČD Cargo cannot be absent. We look forward to seeing you on 9th September in Praha-Vršovice, 16th September in Česká Třebová and on 23rd September at the National Railway Day in Bohumín and on 30th September in Liberec.

Measurement of radioactivity

Due to the closure on the ÖBB network line, it will not be possible to carry out radioactivity measurements at Horní Dvořiště railway station from 21st August to 10th September 2023. We apologize for any incurred inconvenience.

Rail Business Days 2023

On 5 – 7 June 2023, ČD Cargo participated in the international railway trade fair Rail Business Days. This year’s edition was held in the industrial premises of the Trojhalí in Ostrava and both carriers and manufacturers of railway vehicles and equipment were represented – in total, more than a hundred companies exhibited here.

Meeting of association ŽESNAD.CZ

The Harmony Hotel in Spindleruv Mlyn hosted already the sixth annual ŽESNAD.CZ conference. In addition to delegates of carriers, the event was also attended by representatives of the Railway Administration, manufacturers of railway equipment, repair companies and, of course, political representatives, including the Minister of Transport Martin Kupka.

No strike in Germany

The announced strike by DB Netz employees has been called off. Operation of freight trains to/from Germany should therefore be ensured without major restrictions.
