Collective labour agreement for 2026 concluded

On November 27, the management of ČD Cargo, a.s., concluded a Company Collective Labour Agreement with its social partners valid for 2026. In response to changing conditions on the transport market, the company is going through an exceptionally difficult period of restructuring, therefore the result of the negotiations is proof of the constructive approach of all parties involved. By signing, the social partners also appreciated the effort to find a balanced solution that respects the current economic possibilities of the company.

As of November 14, 2025, Mr. Jiří Horáček has taken up the position of Director of the Sales Department, who will be responsible for managing ČD Cargo’s sales activities, implementing the sales strategy and achieving its business goals.

Company restructuring – next phase

On Monday, July 21, 2025, a meeting of the top management of ČD Cargo with representatives of the trade union central offices took place. The main topic was the continuation of the company restructuring. The transport volumes of all carriers on the network of Správa železnic declined by another 5.3% in the first half of this year.
