On Friday, March 16, 2018, was in Kaliningrad signed a protocol of plans to cooperate with the Russian Railways (RZD). Signature of the agreement was participated by member of the Board of Directors, Mr. Bohumil Rampula and General Manager East, Mrs. Liliana Krutonog.
The meeting of the top representatives of the Kaliningrad region with the leadership of ČD Cargo responds to the constant increase of freight transport volumes in this region in the exchange of goods between Asia and Europe. ČD Cargo is considered to be a solid and experienced partner, given the transport already made. In his speech, Mr. Bohumil Rampula highlighted the growing interest in timber commodity and the changing black coal transport routes. Kaliningrad has long been an alternative to the capacitively limited existing transport route via Belarusian Brest and Malaszewicze in Poland.
