ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, AEO, ECM, SQAS

ČD Cargo, a.s. has an established and maintained integrated management system according to ISO in order to constantly improve the services it provides. The basic documents of the integrated management system according to ISO are:

• Integrated management system policy according to ISO and
• Integrated management system manual according to ISO,

Fulfilment of the requirements defined by the relevant ISO standards is attested by the following certificates:

• ISO 9001
  (QMS = Quality Management System) is a certificate which attests the fulfilment of requirements for a management system and quality control focusing on the quality of services provided. According to this standard ČD Cargo, a.s. is certified since February 2007.
   
• ISO 14001
  (EMS = Environmental Management System) is a certificate which attests the fulfilment of requirements for an environmental management system focusing on the environment. According to this standard the area of repairs is certified ČD Cargo, a.s. since November 2008.
   
• ISO 45001
  (SMS = Safety Management System) is a certificate which attests the fulfilment of requirements for an occupational safety system focusing on occupational health and safety. According to this standard ČD Cargo, a.s. is certified since December 2012.
   
• ISO 50001
  (EnMS = Energy Management System) is a certificate for an energy management system. According to this standard ČD Cargo, a.s. is certified since October 2017.
   

In the interest of constant improvement of services ČD Cargo, a.s. was also granted and maintains certification and attestation according to other standards or specifictions, namely:

• SQAS Core and Rail Specific
  (SQAS = Safety & Quality Assessment System) is the attestation of quality and safety in the transport of chemicals by railway. ČD Cargo, a.s. has been the holder of this attestation since March 2015.
   
• AEO Certification
  (Authorised Economic Operator) is the highest level of certification “Simplified Customs Procedures/Safety and Security”, which is issued by the Customs Administration. ČD Cargo, a.s. is the holder of this certification since September 2009.
   
• Certificate for the function of maintenance and
  Certificate for the entity reponsible for maintenance
  document compliance with the conditions of the Directive 2016/798 of the European Parliament and of the Council and of the Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/779 for the performance of ECM activities in railway vehicles (locomotives, passenger cars, wagons, special vehicles and track machinery).
