The smart wagon of ČD Cargo, a.s.

Welcome to the website of the Smart wagon of company ČD Cargo, a.s., where you will find basic information about our comprehensive solution for simple tracking of the position of wagons on railway transport network.

We use the following IoT units to track the position of our wagons:

• Ultimate CDC - this device meets the requirements for use in potentially explosive atmospheres (ATEX) defined by standard 2014/34 / EU for the category:  ic IIA T4 Gc. – ATEX 3. The document by which the supplier declares that the Ultimate CDC device complies with ATEX 3. More detailed information, technical specifications and product list in English can be found on the website of our supplier.
• Ultimate 3.3 - this device meets the following: ATEX 95, ATEX 137, Directive 2014/34 / EU, 1999/92 / EC, Government Regulation No. 116/2016 Coll., 406/2004 Coll. - ATEX 2 -  ib IIB T4 Gb,  ib IIIC T 130 °C Db. Both types of devices communicate via Sigfox network, which emphasizes the low consumption of connected devices, the smallest possible amount of transferred data - so it is ideal for IoT devices. Current coverage by Sigfox networks.
